Mediterranean cities share similar issues such as outdated infrastructure, limited digital services, urban congestion, and environmental sustainability problems.
The project aims at improving infrastructure and services by exchanging best practices and developing common strategies. It will enhance citizens’ participation in the decision-making process of digitalization and improve skills for digital transition. It will also provide training services for city executives in smart cities tools and related technologies in the energy and environment, and community health sectors. Overall, the project wants to ensure a better quality of live in some Mediterranean cities.
