Why the project matters

Marginalized youth across the Mediterranean face common challenges including limited access to education and training, few economic opportunities, gender-based discrimination, and social exclusion. The absence of coordinated responses and cross-border cooperation limits the ability to create effective and sustainable solutions. Addressing these shared challenges is essential to promote inclusive development, equality, and stability in the region.

• To implement inclusive digital literacy and soft skills training for marginalized youth, including young people Not in Employment, Education and Training (NEETs), women, and rural populations.
• To promote gender equality and social inclusion through transnational services that support socio-economic integration and empowerment.

• Enhanced digital and critical thinking skills among 510 marginalized youth through joint training schemes, boosting their employability and social participation.
• Strengthened cross-border cooperation among 25 youth organizations, ensuring continued collaboration beyond the project’s duration.
• Increased youth engagement across borders, with 100 young people participating in joint actions that foster regional inclusion and exchange.

• 25 cross-border cooperation agreements signed between youth organizations, ensuring continued collaboration after project completion.
• 3 tools developed to facilitate youth dialogue and cooperation across borders, include online collaboration platforms, resource guides, best practice manuals
• 3 joint training programmes on digital marketing, social media, and critical thinking, co-designed and implemented by all partners.
• Enhanced skills and capacities of 510 marginalized youth and youth organization members through training, coaching, and mentoring sessions.
• 4 youth exchange visits and 5 national networking events organized to promote cultural exchange, collaboration, and peer learning.
• Support services provided to 75 vulnerable individuals, including refugees, migrants, and persons with disabilities, through counseling and vocational training.

• 480 marginalized youth from border regions trained in digital, critical thinking, and social media skills, improving their employability and inclusion.
• 25 youth organizations strengthened through capacity building, cross-border cooperation, and access to collaboration platforms.
• 300 young women and girls engaged in awareness workshops promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
• 75 vulnerable individuals (including women, migrants, refugees, and persons with disabilities) supported through counseling and vocational training.
• 30 youth workers trained as motivators and multipliers, improving outreach and impact in their local communities.
• Local communities indirectly benefiting from stronger youth participation, social cohesion, and economic opportunities driven by empowered youth and organizations.
