About – EU-MED hubs to accelerate SMEs sustainable and competitive growth

The SPEEDUP project addresses key challenges faced by startups and innovative SMEs in the Mediterranean region, such as insufficient funding, lack of cooperation, and limited access to capacity-building opportunities. By establishing a network of local hubs, the project will provide mentoring, training, and organizational services to disadvantaged and unemployed individuals, helping them launch sustainable, competitive businesses. The project focuses on fostering growth through the Green and Circular Economy, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, ensuring inclusivity and sustainability in its support for entrepreneurship and innovation across the Mediterranean region. It will work in Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon Spain and Tunisia.
