About – Building Smart Green SME Ecosystem: Transforming MED SMEs into active participants of a smart and green ecosystem and enhancing the economic activity of the food industry

This project is set to create a dynamic Mediterranean food industry ecosystem, bringing together 100 SMEs to drive collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. By offering cutting-edge services like AI-based benchmarking, digital procurement, and new product development, it will empower SMEs to embrace digital and green transitions, enhancing their competitiveness. The project  will also establish a Mediterranean SME association, promoting the region’s food industry and ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of the ecosystem, with plans to expand and inspire similar initiatives across the Mediterranean. It will operate in Cyprus, Greece, Jordan and Tunisia.
