About – Energy efficiency, Renewable Energy Sources and smarT energy conservation for improved quality of life and a GREENer Mediterranean

RESt4GREEN addresses the urgent challenge of low energy efficiency in public buildings across the Mediterranean Basin, which contributes to energy poverty and dependency. The project will improve buildings energy performance through renovation, such as better insulation or more efficient systems, to reduce energy use. It will also introduce innovative solutions like solar trees in outdoor areas to boost overall energy performance. Involving seven countries (Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Spain, Tunisia, and Türkiye), it pilots energy upgrades and provides a shared platform for training, monitoring, and engagement to support clean energy adoption, resilience, and a just green transition in the region.
