About – Developing Inclusive Education in the Mediterranean

Across the Mediterranean, many communities face a gap between their rich cultural heritage and limited access to inclusive education and employment. The DIEM project bridges this divide by enhancing education and training systems through a focus on Cultural Heritage. By empowering young people and disadvantaged groups (socially excluded, women, rural inhabitants and NEETs), and building capacities of local and institutional actors, DIEM contributes to social inclusion and economic growth. Involving Italy, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Spain and Palestine, the project builds a Mediterranean network of shared knowledge and skills, unlocking the potential of Cultural Heritage sites.
