About – CLUSTER for a dATa driven ruraL sustAinable touriSm for MEDiterranean SMEs

Rural tourism is a growing opportunity for sustainable development across the Mediterranean, yet small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas often lack access to digital tools, innovation support, and international networks. CLUSTERATLAS4MED addresses these gaps by creating a strategic trans-Mediterranean meta-cluster specifically focused on rural tourism. With partners from Italy, Malta, Spain, Greece, Egypt, Tunisia, and Türkiye, the project promotes cooperation, digitalisation, and data-driven strategies tailored to rural economies. Through training, support services, and shared governance tools, the project empowers rural tourism entrepreneurs to innovate, diversify, and compete in a more sustainable and inclusive Mediterranean economy.
