RESt4GREEN team is currently collecting and analysing existing policy instruments on energy efficiency across the Mediterranean region, with the aim of better understanding how countries support green development through effective policies and strategies.
The project reviews formal rules, laws, strategies, processes, and initiatives related to energy efficiency at both transnational and national levels, focusing on approaches that deliver measurable results while minimizing negative environmental, social, or economic impacts.
During this phase, partners collect and review policy instruments from Greece, Trkiye, Tunisia, Jordan, Egypt, Italy, and Spain, offering a diverse and representative picture of the Mediterranean policy landscape. By examining policies that already work in practice, RESt4GREEN highlights how energy efficiency contributes to sustainable public buildings, climate resilience, and greener communities.
The collected policy instruments will allow the project to identify key trends, common challenges, and successful practices across the region. RESt4GREEN will soon share the key findings, supporting informed dialogue and future policy development at Mediterranean level.
