The Interreg NEXT MED project MEDinCHAMBERS will be officially launched in Rome with a two-day Kick-Off Meeting on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 January 2026. The event will be hosted by CUEIM, Lead Partner of the project, at Unioncamere, in Sabbatini Room, Piazza Sallustio 21.
MEDinCHAMBERS is a governance-focused initiative supporting the green and sustainable transition of the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear (TCLF) sector across the Mediterranean. The project encourages a collaborative, multi-stakeholder, quadruple-helix approach, actively engaging public institutions, universities and research centres, chambers of commerce, businesses, and civil society organisations. Its aim is to strengthen dialogue, cooperation, and innovation to foster more sustainable and resilient business models within the Mediterranean TCLF ecosystem by building an alliance among the multiple actors involved. With a partnership of seven organizations and Chambers of Commerce from Italy, Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt, the project is fully committed to promoting sustainable, innovative, and resilient business models in the Mediterranean TCLF sector.
The Kick-Off Meeting will bring together representatives from European and Mediterranean institutions, public and private stakeholders, business associations, academic experts, and practitioners.
