Within the framework of the WISEMED project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, the Water Research and Technologies Centre (CERTE) is launching a call for applications in collaboration with the Regional Commission for Agricultural Development of Nabeul (CRDA), the National Institute of Research in Rural Engineering, Water and Forestry (INRGREF), and the Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU) to select 80 farmers to benefit from technical support and to encourage their participation in the project’s pilot actions.

The selected farmers will take part in pilot activities implemented by INRGREF. This call aims to improve farming practices in response to challenges related to water scarcity, both in terms of quantity and quality, and soil degradation in the Mediterranean context.

Information days (“Infodays”) will be organized for farmers to present the project and the identified solutions, highlighting benefits for crops, financial savings, and environmental advantages. These events aim to encourage farmers to participate in pilot activities and to foster interest in adopting the proposed solutions.

Following these meetings, farmers’ responses to the attached questionnaire will form the basis of the participant selection process, with the selection date to be defined at a later stage.

The dates and locations of the information days and training sessions will be officially communicated.

Interested farmers are invited to express their interest by sending an email to the following address: neila_saidi@yahoo.fr.

The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM Tunisian time.
