Interreg NEXT MED at the 5th Union for the Mediterranean “Energy and Climate Business Forum” in Kuwait
Held on 12th and 13th of May 2025 during Kuwait Sustainable Energy Week, the Forum gathered key regional actors to accelerate the green transition and deepen Euro–Mediterranean–Gulf cooperation. Interreg NEXT MED was actively represented, highlighting the programme’s role in promoting climate resilience, innovation, and cross-border solutions. All photos by Christophe Viseux.

Interreg NEXT MED at Interreg GO! Event
Interreg NEXT MED joined the Interreg GO event in Gorizia (Italia)/Nova Gorica (Slovenia) on 27 March 2025, with 500+ participants & top EU representatives to discussing #Interreg’s future post-2027. Aldo Puleo from the Managing Authority contributed to the session "Cooperation: Shared Spaces, Shared Goals".

Interreg NEXT MED at Sun&Blue Congress in Almeria, Spain
On 22 November in Almeria, Spain, Vincent Ernoux, Coordinator of the Interreg NEXT MED Branch Office for the Western Mediterranean, took part in the Sun&Blue Congress, a key event on Blue Tourism and Blue Economy. He contributed to sessions on financing opportunities and moderated a panel on best practices in blue economy projects.
Interreg NEXT MED at the Arab SMEs Summit in Doha, Qatar
From 18 to 20 November 2024, Interreg NEXT MED took part in the Arab SMEs Summit in Doha, engaging with circular economy and agro-food SMEs, presenting programme opportunities, and strengthening ties with businesses and officials from the Gulf region.
