SmartGreenEcos partner IWDT, organised an Info Day in Amman on 10 February 2026, presenting the project and the open call for Jordanian dairy SMEs, with strong participation from the sector.
On 10 February 2026, the SmartGreenEcos project successfully held its Info Day in Jordan at The Ritz-Carlton, Amman, bringing together dairy sector representatives, industry stakeholders, and SMEs to present the project and the upcoming opportunities for Jordanian companies.
The Info Day introduced participants to the Interreg NEXT MED Programme and its regional objectives, followed by a presentation of the SmartGreenEcos digital–green transformation model and its Mediterranean dimension across Jordan, Greece, Cyprus, and Tunisia.

Presentation of SmartGreenEcos, its approach, and regional cooperation model
Explanation of the Open Call and selection process for Jordanian dairy SMEs
Discussion of expected benefits, including digital tools, innovation support, capacity building, and opportunities for regional cooperation and study visits
Strong engagement and discussion with sector stakeholders and SMEs
The event witnessed strong interest from the sector, with participation from more than 30 dairy companies, and a significant number of companies expressing readiness to apply and participate in upcoming project activities. The Open Call remains active, and follow-up communication with interested SMEs is ongoing.
