Caritas Lebanon has launched a tender for the selection of an External Auditor who will be responsible for verifying all expenditures incurred by Caritas Lebanon within the framework of SALAM – Social, sustAinable and incLusive heAlth care systems in Med area project, implemented under Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
SALAM works to improve more equal access to healthcare and strengthen the resilience of health systems across the Mediterranean, with a particular focus on vulnerable communities and fragile contexts. Within this framework, Caritas Lebanon is seeking a legally registered and authorized audit firm in Lebanon to conduct expenditure verifications and financial auditing during the project implementation period, in accordance with the requirement of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme and the applicable national procedures.
Eligible bidders have to be registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Finance.
In line with national procedures, the selection will also be submitted to the National Control Contact Point in Lebanon for endorsement before the audit contract is signed
