MERAVIGLIA kicked off to support entrepreneurs in the sustainable development sector

The project aims to create 12 third places, all over the Mediterranean, that will provide training and skills development in green entrepreneurship.

Toulon, 10th December 2025, at the launch of the MERAVIGLIA project

From 10 to 12 December 2025, Petra Patrimonia cooperative, lead partner of MERAVIGLIA, gathered all the partners to officially launch the project. The meeting took place at “Le Générateur” in Toulon, France.

These three days of work brought together all the project partners in a professional and friendly atmosphere, encouraging in-depth discussions on the strategic and operational challenges of MERAVIGLIA.

Particular attention was paid to the participation of the Technical Secretariat, which presented the specific features of the Interreg NEXT MED program, the program’s governing bodies, and its role in supporting projects and implementing the program.

The MERAVIGLIA project partners were introduced at this event. The consortium is made up of eight public and private operators working in the fields of employment, training, and sustainable development, from France, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Turkey, including:

A detailed presentation of the MERAVIGLIA project served as a reminder of its main objectives. The project aims to support and train entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable development in the Mediterranean, in particular through the development of third places dedicated to green entrepreneurship, as well as through the establishment of mentoring and transnational mobility schemes across the Mediterranean.

Discussions also focused on planning the implementation of the project, including the working methods proposed to develop support, training, and mobility for future entrepreneurs. A co-creation workshop was organized around the definition of Third Places and the development of a common method for their development.

At the end of the three days, all participants left with a clear vision of the MERAVIGLIA project and concrete courses of action to be implemented in the coming months.
