MERAVIGLIA engages local stakeholders on green skills in Türkiye

On 9 March 2026, the MERAVIGLIA project was presented during a local meeting on green skills in the industrial sector in Manisa. The event brought together regional stakeholders, including the Manisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Manisa Machine Mold Manufacturers Association, to discuss labour market needs, women’s access to employment, and the support required to move from training to entrepreneurship.

Promoting MERAVIGLIA to local stakeholders in Manisa
On 9 March 2026, the MERAVIGLIA project was presented during a local meeting on green skills in the industrial sector in Manisa.
The meeting brought together key regional stakeholders, including the Manisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Manisa Machine Mold Manufacturers Association, with the participation of Manisa Governorship, partner in the MERAVIGLIA Project.
During the session, Derya Deniz Güven, representing Manisa Governorship, introduced the project’s main initiatives and highlighted how MERAVIGLIA supports the development of green skills and innovative opportunities through the creation of third places and local learning communities for future entrepreneurs.
The meeting also created a valuable space for exchange around several key topics :
🔹 the skills most needed in the industrial sector
🔹 the barriers women face when accessing the labour market
🔹 the support needed to help women move from training to employment or entrepreneurship
This meeting strengthened cooperation between public institutions and industry representatives, while highlighting the importance of skills development and social inclusion for a more sustainable Mediterranean future.
