The Mediterranean initiative to Regenerate wastewater Sludges for Optimal Use toward a Circular Economy (MedRESOURCE) project seeks to deliver tangible benefits for agriculture and the environment by demonstrating safe, effective reuse to boost soil fertility, reducing pollution and supporingt sustainable farming across Mediterranean countries. With a total budget of €2.4 million, the project is co-financed by the European Union, which is contributing 89% to its implementation through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme 2021–2027.
