On 29 January 2026, the MedFireWise Project took part in a dedicated training session for newly funded Interreg NEXT projects, held at Tunis Science City, through its Tunisian partner INRGREF.

Organised by Interreg NEXT Italy–Tunisia, with the support of Interreg TESIM NEXT and the presence of the European Commission, the session focused on the technical and financial rules governing the implementation of Interreg-funded projects. The training aimed to support project partners in ensuring sound management, compliance, and effective delivery of activities.

Participants received practical guidance on project coordination, financial reporting, eligibility rules, and administrative procedures, fostering a shared understanding of programme requirements from the early stages of implementation.

MedFireWise’s participation in this training reflects the project’s commitment to transparent, efficient, and high-quality project management, while strengthening its integration within the Interreg NEXT framework. Through INRGREF, the project actively contributes to the continuity and success of two decades of Interreg cooperation in Tunisia, supporting long-term, cross-border solutions for shared Mediterranean challenges.
