Within the framework of the SHARE4MED project, ETT S.p.A is launching this Call for Expressions of Interest to identify qualified experts or organisations interested in supporting the implementation of key project activities related to the Coalition of Mayors for Mission Ocean and the development of strategic planning documents for Mediterranean cooperation.
The selected expert or organisation will work in close coordination with ETT, project partners, and members and prospective members of the Coalition of Mayors.
Scope of work
The selected expert or organisation will support ETT through dialogue and coordination with project partners, as well as with current and prospective members of the Coalition of Mayors. The assignment will include the preparation of the following outputs:
Activity 3.1.1 – Coalition of Mayors for Mission Ocean
Preparation of draft cooperation agreements with associations of municipalities in Algeria and Tunisia and, where possible, with associations from other non-EU Mediterranean countries.
Activity 3.1.2 – Shared Transition Agenda
Preparation of the draft second edition of the Coalition’s Shared Transition Agenda. The document will update the contributions of current members and integrate new inputs from municipalities expected to join the Coalition during the period 2025–2026.
Activity 3.1.3 – SHARE4MED Legacy Plan
Preparation of a draft SHARE4MED Transition Plan outlining the long-term sustainability and legacy of the initiative. The draft document is expected to be completed by the first semester of 2027.
Expected Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Proven experience in international cooperation or EU-funded projects
- Experience working with municipalities, local authorities, or municipal networks
- Strong skills in coordination with multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Experience in drafting strategic, policy, or cooperation documents
- Excellent written and spoken English
Knowledge of the Mediterranean cooperation context and additional languages relevant to the region (e.g. French or Arabic) will be considered an asset.
