The MEDinCHAMBERS project, co-funded by the European Union via the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, is officially seeking up to 18 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (3 per country) from Italy, Spain, Greece, Tunisia, Egypt, and Turkey to lead the transition toward a circular and sustainable textile ecosystem.
Why Apply? From Assessment to Action
This initiative is designed to help TCLF (Textile, Clothing, Leather, and Footwear) companies overcome regulatory fragmentation and align with the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles. Selected participants will access a specialized support package:
LCA & MFA Evaluations: experts will conduct a “Cradle-to-Grave” Life Cycle Assessment and Material Flow Analysis to identify environmental “hotspots” and resource efficiencies.
Tailored Mentoring: based on the results, companies will receive a personalized Green Transition Action Plan and technical assistance to implement circular business models.
Digital Innovation: access to the Digital Detector Service, a tool designed to map regulations, best practices, and sustainability opportunities.
Strategic Networking: participation in Local Pilot Knowledge Hubs and a transnational Sustainability Bootcamp in Barcelona (September 14–18, 2026) for matchmaking and cross-border collaboration.
Eligibility & Selection Priorities
The call is open to active MSMEs operating in the TCLF value chain within the eligible project territories. To maximize impact, the project will prioritize:
Companies with multi-stage industrial processes and significant production volumes.
Manufacturers of jeans or T-shirts to enable regional benchmarking.
Enterprises with a commitment to gender equality, specifically those owned or led by women.
Companies already utilizing digital management systems (ERP, PLM) or holding environmental certifications (ISO 14001, OEKO-TEX, etc.).
Timeline & Privacy
Application Deadline: March 31, 2026.
Selection Announcement: April 24, 2026.
Data Confidentiality: all sensitive operational data will be treated as strictly confidential and used solely for the project’s sustainability assessments.
