Polytechnic of Bari has launched a post-graduate scholarship under SALAM – Social, sustainable and inclusive health care systems in Med area, the Interreg NEXT MED project working to support more inclusive and resilient healthcare systems across the Mediterranean. The scholarship will be awarded to one candidate through a selection based on qualifications and interview.
The scholarship focuses on remote healthcare monitoring, with particular attention to techniques and devices that can support telemedicine through the monitoring of physiological signals. The selected candidate will contribute to identifying solutions that are reliable, interoperable and sustainable across different care settings.
The scholarship lasts 6 months, with the possibility of renewal for up to an additional 6 months. Its total value is €12,000, with an extra reimbursement of up to €1,000 for research-related travel expenses.
The call is open to applicants holding a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering, or an equivalent foreign qualification. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of software for medical data and image analysis, experience with Matlab and Python, and proficiency in English.
