On 12 February, two of the INNOVATILE project partners visited the facilities of the company Camacho Recycling, located in Caudete, in the province of Albacete, Spain, as part of the activities to find companies dedicated to the treatment of secondary raw materials of interest to the project. This company is a leader in Spain in the treatment and processing of different types of recycled glass, both hollow and flat, offering applications for its products to different industrial sectors. It should be noted that recycled glass can be a very interesting alternative for reducing feldspar in ceramic porcelain tile compositions, one of the main objectives of the INNOVATILE project. The visit was attended by Jaume I University Professors Vicente Sanz and Enrique Sánchez, the director of the R&D centre of the Turkish group Kaleseramik, Dr Kagan Kayaci and Istanbul Technical University Professor Can Gen.
