The Agricultural University of Athens, partner of the EONANOBIOPS project, is launching a Call for Expression of Interest for one Researcher – Agronomist in Crop Production / Acarologist within the EU-funded project implemented under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme (2021–2027).

The selected researcher will support the development of safer and more sustainable pest management solutions by evaluating essential oil mixtures and their individual components, before and after nano-encapsulation, and assessing their effects on crop-infesting mites and beneficial predatory mites.

Research activities will focus on generating data on the synergistic interactions of essential oils, establishing toxicological and safety profiles, and contributing to the development and independent testing of innovative nano-formulations designed to improve the stability, selectivity, and effectiveness of essential oil–based nano-biopesticides.

EONANOBIOPS strengthens its mission to advance eco-friendly plant protection solutions, supporting more resilient, innovative, and sustainable agriculture across the Mediterranean region.
