On 24 March, the city of Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) will host the public launch event of CReSInMed – Competitiveness and Internationalisation of Rural Tourism SMEs in the Mediterranean.
The event, taking place at Palazzo Regio from 15:00 to 18:00 will feature a high-level round table titled “Rural Tourism in the Mediterranean: Policy Visions and Development Strategies and Synergies”, representing the central moment of the launch.
The round table will bring together institutional representatives, project partners from Italy, Greece, Spain, Türkiye, Jordan, Tunisia and Palestine, along with key stakeholders, reflecting the project’s strong transnational dimension. It will offer a valuable opportunity for institutions and international partners to engage in a shared dialogue on concrete opportunities for rural tourism businesses and to highlight the added value of cooperation across the Mediterranean. Open to the public, the session is designed to foster dialogue between policymakers, experts and stakeholders, creating a space for the exchange of experiences and perspectives from both shores of the Mediterranean. The discussion will also highlight concrete opportunities for rural tourism micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in terms of access to training, digital tools and international markets, key elements at the core of the CReSInMed project.
The event is part of the CReSInMed project’s Kick-off Meeting (23–25 March), which gathers partners in Cagliari to officially launch the initiative and align on future activities.
Participants can also follow the event online via live streaming on Zoom: Meeting ID: 859 7553 7827
This event marks the beginning of a shared Mediterranean journey towards stronger cooperation, innovation and sustainable growth in rural tourism.
We look forward to welcoming you on 24 March in Cagliari or online!
