CReSInMed officially launches its Open Call for Rural Tourism (M)SMEs, offering a unique opportunity for small and medium-sized tourism businesses operating in rural areas across the Mediterranean to strengthen their competitiveness and expand internationally.
Rural tourism businesses often face common challenges such as limited access to training, digital tools and international markets. Through this Open Call, CReSInMed aims to address these barriers by providing targeted support to selected enterprises.
This is not merely a training programme, but a structured journey of guidance and growth, designed to support rural tourism (M)SMEs in strengthening their innovation, sustainability and internationalisation capacities.
Companies joining the CReSInMed project will benefit from a comprehensive support pathway, backed by a Mediterranean network of experts, including:
- Customized strategic analysis
- Specialized training programmes
- Technical support from international experts
- Mediterranean networking opportunities
- Access to trade fairs and market opportunities
- Digital tools for internationalisation
Through this Open Call, around 20 (M)SMEs per country (up to 120 across the Mediterranean) will be selected to participate in the first phase of analysis and assessment of their growth and internationalisation potential in 2026.
A second selection phase will then identify high-potential enterprises that will continue with advanced project activities in 2027 and 2028.
CReSInMed is looking for motivated and forward-looking companies, ready to innovate and grow in a Mediterranean context. This is a unique opportunity to improve competitiveness, strengthen managerial and digital skills, expand international networks and prepare to enter new markets.
The call is open to rural tourism (M)SMEs operating in rural areas in Italy, Greece, Türkiye, Jordan, Spain and Palestine.
Don’t miss this opportunity to grow, innovate and take your business to the next level, positioning it in international markets and joining a dynamic Mediterranean network of rural tourism (M)SMEs.
