An-Najah National University, a partner of the EU-funded CERES project, has announced a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Architectural Design of an Integrated Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Structure.
The call aims to select an innovative architectural concept for a centralized solar-powered system, a PV for a vehicle charger, and a solar PV for a desalination structure. The design is expected to integrate photovoltaic technologies into an open public space through functional, sustainable, and aesthetically coherent solutions. Proposals should ensure the seamless integration of solar PV systems while preserving and enhancing the social, educational, urban, and environmental value of the selected area.
This initiative is implemented within the framework of CERES Project (Centers of Excellence for Resilient Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Solutions), a project co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. The project supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development across the Mediterranean region.
By launching this call, An Najah National University contributes to the practical deployment of integrated renewable energy solutions, fostering collaboration between architecture, technology, and academic communities. The initiative aligns with CERES Project objectives to strengthen innovation ecosystems and promote real-life demonstration projects in sustainability and clean energy.
