APPLY NOW: Youth4Regions, the programme for aspiring journalists

Youth4Regions is the European Commission programme helping journalism students and young journalists to discover what the EU is doing in their region. Apply by 8 July 2024 to be part of an amazing 1-week experience in Brussels.

If you are aged between 18 and 30 years old, you have a background in journalism (studies or up to 2 years of experience) and you are an EU Member States, accession and neighbouring countries (including the following countries participating in Interreg NEXT MED Programme: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, and Türkiye), we highly recommend you to apply to the Youth4Regions programme by 8 July 2024 at 17:00 CET.

The programme, launched by European Commission’s DG REGIO, offers aspiring and young aspiring journalists the unique opportunity to be part of an amazing 1-week experience with a special trip to Brussels, visits to European institutions, trainings, mentorships from renowned journalists and more activities!

– First, make sure you are available between 7 – 13 October 2024 if you want to take part in this unique experience in Brussels, Belgium.
– Secondly, you will need to cover an EU co-funded project (excluding Erasmus+ study abroad projects).
– Thirdly, pick your category: are you covering this project through an article, a photo or video reportage?

Whether it is transforming demolition waste into new roads, installing green walls that reuse water, empowering women in rural communities, helping fishermen diversify their trades, promoting organic farming, using developmental games to boost tourism, innovating traditional salinas’ business models, enhancing the energy efficiency of public buildings, and fostering youth entrepreneurship, our ENI CBC Med Programme offers plenty of compelling and impactful stories across 13 Mediterranean countries: tell them, share them and make them known to a large audience!
