We are thrilled to announce the winner of the Content Creator Contest, a competition launched to spotlight the voices of young storytellers passionate about sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean region. The winner will help to cover “Paths That Last: Collaborating for Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean”, an event organized by seven Interreg Programmes, taking place in Split, Croatia, on 25–26 June 2025.

After receiving an overwhelming number of creative and inspiring entries from across participating countries, Reem Masadeh, from Jordan, has been selected as the contest winner.

Check out her video pitch:

Reem is a passionate storyteller and content creator who uses her lens to reflect real, and relatable moments. She captures what feels true to her, whether it’s through travel, cultures, or everyday life, Reem’s content is shaped by curiosity and a deep belief in the power of honest storytelling. Her creative path wasn’t always straightforward, but through determination and staying true to her values, she carved out her own space. Participating in EU programs like Erasmus+ opened new doors, reminding her that growth often begins with a single step beyond the comfort zone.

“Thank you so much for the wonderful news! I’m truly honored and very excited to be selected as the winner of the Content Creator Contest! I’m looking forward to joining you all in Split and contributing to the Mediterranean Sustainable Tourism Event,” Reem Masadeh.

As part of her prize, Reem will travel to Split to cover the event live. She will produce video stories, conduct interviews, and share behind-the-scenes insights — bringing attention to local voices and collaborative actions shaping the future of sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean.

“This contest was a celebration of youth engagement, creativity, and the future of tourism in the Mediterranean region. We thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and the fresh perspectives they brought to the topic of sustainable tourism.” Martin Heibel, Communication Manager at Interreg NEXT MED.
