International Earth Day, on 22 April, is an opportunity to highlight the need to address climate change in order to protect our planet’s biodiversity for future generations. Adopting sustainable practices and creating and developing innovative eco-friendly solutions are essential for taking effective action.
In the face of the challenge of the green transition, new professions are emerging and it is essential to develop new skills (ADEME– French Agency for ecological transition).
Many entrepreneurs are launching businesses in the field of the circular economy, renewable energy or resource management. These micro-enterprises are playing their part in the fight to preserve the environment, and an appropriate support is needed for their success.
The MERAVIGLIA project is fully aligned with this approach. It supports entrepreneurial initiatives in the field of sustainable development through the creation and development of third places dedicated to environmental expertise.
These third places will be open and inclusive spaces designed to welcome a diverse audience. They are also aimed at jobseekers and those undergoing career changes, offering them an environment that encourages exchange, learning and innovation. These spaces will also be living spaces where it will be possible to take on new challenges and envisage a fresh start.
The MERAVIGLIA project offers structured support, focused on developing meaningful projects, through training initiatives, conferences, and collaborations at local and European level. Micro-enterprise founders will be able to acquire new environmental and entrepreneurial skills necessary for the successful implementation of their projects.
