On Tuesday, March 17, an information session on the “HorizonCraft – Sailing towards Mediterranean expertise building” project, organized by the lead association TDM 2000, took place in Cagliari, Italy. The meeting was part of a three-day international meeting attended by 110 professionals representing 26 organizations from various European countries, several of which are active in promoting entrepreneurial culture among younger generations. The purpose of the meeting was to share information on the Interreg NEXT MED program, with a particular focus on the HorizonCraft project.
Additionally, the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) program was presented to the associations and individuals in attendance. Speakers included Agnese Attene, representing the Programme Management Authority, and project coordinator Angelica Perra, who presented HorizonCraft’s activities. The presentation did not ignore the challenges posed by the current international climate, reiterating the desire to dedicate maximum effort to achieving the project’s objectives.
In this regard, the video testimonial submitted by the Lebanese project partners from the Beirut Chamber of Commerce and shown to the public was particularly moving. Among the most appreciated contributions was that of Eliass Alem, a young Italian-French-Moroccan currently working in the Europe Direct office of the Sardinia Region, as part of the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) program.
