The Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II has announced a public selection for a specialized post-doctoral researcher to join the INNOVATILE project at the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering (DICEA). Following the recent opening of a research vacancy, the project continues to strengthen its scientific framework with a new Post-Doc position. This opportunity is designed for experienced researchers ready to contribute to the project’s mission of transforming the Mediterranean ceramic industry through sustainable innovation.

The selected Post-Doc researcher will be integrated into the research activities led by Prof. Alessandra Cesaro. Beyond core research tasks, the role includes collaboration in educational activities and “third mission” initiatives, ensuring that the project’s scientific progress is effectively transferred to both students and society.

The call is specifically aimed at candidates holding a PhD in Engineering (or an equivalent international degree). Applicants must possess a strong scientific-professional curriculum that demonstrates their ability to handle the complexities of the INNOVATILE research program. The contract has an initial duration of 12 months and offers a competitive salary aligned with Italian national regulations for post-doctoral researchers. The activities will be based in Naples, within the stimulating academic environment of the Federico II University.

Candidates will be evaluated through a comparative assessment of their academic titles, research products, and a public interview. The interview will also serve to verify the candidate’s proficiency in a foreign language (English).
