Within the framework of the EmpoweerNEET Project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, An-Najah National University in Palestine launched a call for tenders to select an external financial auditor authorized in Palestine to audit all project expenditures for the full implementation period from 24 October 2025 to 23 April 2028, in accordance with the Programme procedures.
Following the publication of the call for tenders by An-Najah National University, five audit firms submitted their proposals within the specified deadline.
An evaluation committee formed by An-Najah National University reviewed and assessed the submitted proposals in accordance with the technical and financial evaluation criteria defined in the tender documentation.
After completing the evaluation process, the evaluation committee recommended awarding the contract to Golden Trust for Auditing and Accounting Services, as its proposal was found to be the most compliant with the requirements and conditions of the tender.
The selected auditor will be responsible for auditing all expenditures incurred by An-Najah National University as the Palestinian project partner under the EmpoweerNEET Project, ensuring that financial management and reporting comply with the rules and procedures of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
The audit will cover the entire implementation period of the project (24 October 2025 – 23 April 2028) and will include expenditure verification, compliance checks with Programme rules, and validation of the financial reports submitted within the framework of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
