On February 12th, the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) participated in the official launch event of the Interreg NEXT MED funded projects for Jordan and Palestine, held in Amman, Jordan.
Representing the YIELD project, JUST joined more than 100 participants, including institutional representatives and key stakeholders to discuss the priorities of Mediterranean cooperation. The event was inaugurated by H.E. Pierre‑Christophe Chatzisavas, Ambassador of the European Union to Jordan, who highlighted the Programme’s vital role in bridging governmental institutions and civil society. The event was also attended by Ms. Rita Shalabi, the National Contact Point for Palestine.
For the YIELD project, participation in this event provided valuable visibility at national level and the opportunity to connect with other funded initiatives and stakeholders working in innovation and sustainable development across the region. The project looks forward to contributing to the Programme’s objectives through its focus on youth entrepreneurship and deep tech solutions in the Blue, Green and Circular Economy sectors.
