SIMMER partners in Jordan participated in Interreg NEXT MED training session

The Palestine Polytechnic University and Wadi for Sustainable Ecosystems Development, 2 partners of SIMMER, took part in the Training Session for Jordanian and Palestinian organizations awarded under the first call of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, held in Amman on the 12th February 2026

The session gathered over 100 representatives from governmental, civil society, and academic institutions. Participants received guidance on financial rules, procurement procedures, reporting requirements, monitoring indicators, and communication obligations to ensure effective project implementation.

During the event, the partners presented the SIMMER project under the Green Transition and Climate Resilience priority, highlighting its contribution to strengthening Mediterranean cooperation and promoting innovative environmental solutions.

Their participation reflects a strong commitment to cross-border collaboration and the successful implementation of EU-funded initiatives.
