Within the framework of the Seminar, organised by the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Beladjine Boumediene, Professor at the University of Science and Technology of Oran Mohamed Boudiaf, showcased a scientific presentation addressing key technical challenges related to the decarbonisation of maritime transport and port network.
As a member of the Laboratory of Maritime Sciences and Engineering (LSIM) and coordinator of European projects, Prof. Beladjine Boumediene contributed to the seminar through a research-based perspective focused on technical and methodological approaches to port and maritime decarbonisation, in direct connection with the activities carried out within the GREENMEDPORTS project, funded by Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
This intervention highlights the central scientific role of Prof. Beladjine Boumediene in the dissemination of LSIM’s research outcomes and in the national academic representation of the GREENMEDPORTS project.
The GREENMEDPORTS partner attended ERA 2026 as well, the International Exhibition of Renewable Energies, Future Energies and Sustainable Development, a major event dedicated to energy transition and decarbonisation.
This participation enabled LSIM to present its research activities and provided a strategic opportunity to disseminate the GREENMEDPORTS project.
