CReSInMed focuses on helping rural tourism (M)SMEs turn local potential into international opportunities.
The project adopts an integrated approach combining capacity building, expert support, clustering and digital innovation. Selected (M)SMEs benefit from targeted training programmes focusing on entrepreneurship, productivity, digital transition and sustainability, supported by a Mediterranean Task Force of internationalisation experts.
Beyond training, CReSInMed promotes networking and cooperation among tourism operators, encouraging the creation of local tourism clusters and transnational MetaClusters. These collaborative structures enable (M)SMEs to exchange experiences, develop joint offers and strengthen their positioning in international value chains.
Digital innovation is another cornerstone of the project. Through the development of an interactive platform and digital toolbox, CReSInMed provides practical solutions such as booking management tools, online collaboration spaces and smart destination features. These tools help (M)SMEs increase visibility, improve service quality and reach new markets more effectively.
CReSInMed places strong emphasis on sustainability and inclusion, promoting responsible tourism practices that enhance local cultural and natural heritage while generating positive impacts for local communities.
By combining skills development, cooperation and technology, CReSInMed contributes to build a more competitive, resilient and future-oriented rural tourism sector, aligned with the objectives of sustainable development and Mediterranean cooperation.
