At Researchers’ Night 2025 in Athens, NTUA showcased the EONANOBIOPS project, highlighting cross-Mediterranean collaboration to advance eco-friendly nano-biopesticides and sustainable agriculture.

On this special night, the team of Prof. Anastasia Detsi, from the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)—one of EONANOBIOPS partners—presented their research and its connection to the EONANOBIOPS Project during the Researchers’ Night 2025, organized by NTUA at Zografou Campus in Athens, Greece, on 26 September 2025. The Researchers’ Night is a European initiative held in over 400 cities across Europe, aiming to promote the value of research and science.

The NTUA team had the opportunity to introduce and explain the EONANOBIOPS Project to a wide audience, highlighting how science and collaboration can drive innovation across the Mediterranean.

EONANOBIOPS is funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme (2021–2027) and promotes cross-Mediterranean cooperation to develop eco-friendly nano-biopesticides based on essential oils, contributing to sustainable agriculture and scientific advancement.
