The project focuses on developing eco-friendly nano-biopesticides derived from essential oils to combat tomato pests and diseases while promoting innovative and sustainable farming practices.

During the meeting, participants discussed mechanisms for research cooperation to support farmers, the implementation of joint research experiments, and the promotion of innovation in agricultural pest management.

The meeting brought together key representatives, including Prof. Mohammed Saleem Shtayeh, President of BERC and Project Coordinator; Dr. Rana Jamous, Project Manager; Ms. Salam Abu Zaitoun, Project Researcher; Nahond Souqia, Representative of the National Agricultural Research Center; Safa Absis, Director of Nablus Agricultural Laboratory; and Rihab Aburaed, Project Communication Manager.

They also explored collaboration in the application of nano-biopesticides for pest control, with both parties expressing interest in establishing a cooperation agreement to implement a wide range of research activities in these fields.
