Representatives from six Mediterranean countries met in Alexandroupolis, Greece, with a shared goal. They aim to create a collaborative network of Digital Skills Hubs. This network will improve quality of life, employability, and active participation in the digital age. The project focuses on elderly citizens (65+), older adults (55–64), people with disabilities, and vulnerable social groups.

The DigitalLife4ALL kick-off meeting took place on 11 November 2025, with the Regional Development Fund of East Macedonia and Thrace (RDF) acting as Lead Partner. During the meeting, partners once again stressed the importance of cooperation among Mediterranean countries. Partners from Greece, Cyprus, Jordan, Tunisia, Türkiye, and Lebanon presented their planned actions. At the same time, they shared experiences and national priorities. As a result, they agreed on clear steps and milestones to support smooth implementation and effective project promotion.

The mission of DigitalLife4ALL is to reduce the digital divide across the Mediterranean. The project builds learning ecosystems that are resilient, inclusive, and sustainable. These ecosystems help seniors, older adults, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups take part fully in digital life.

To reach this goal, the project delivers accessible and high-quality digital skills training. In addition, it offers online safety education and hands-on learning support. As a result, citizens can use digital tools with confidence, access essential services, and improve their employability.

Moreover, DigitalLife4ALL combines research with practice. Partners co-design the learning content and use a scalable training platform. This approach keeps learning evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and easy to apply across partner regions. At the same time, accessibility and social inclusion guide every activity. Project teams design all training modules, platform features, and communication tools for easy use by the most vulnerable groups.

Within the project framework, consortium partners jointly deliver face-to-face learning cycles and digital resources across their regions. These activities take place in both urban and remote areas. Therefore, elderly people and vulnerable communities receive direct and tailored learning opportunities.

In addition, partners work together to co-design and roll out 7 educational packages, learners access them through a single, modern asynchronous learning platform. Partners also adapt the materials to cultural, linguistic, and accessibility needs. At the same time, the partnership develops a shared methodological framework for adult education. Teaching partners lead train-the-trainer cycles and prepare local facilitators to teach modern digital skills in an inclusive way.

Alongside training activities, partners collect data and conduct field research to identify real digital learning needs at local level. This work focuses on seniors, older adults, people with disabilities, and socially vulnerable groups. Furthermore, partners organise open days and workshops. These actions support modern and socially sensitive digital learning policies. They also raise awareness of diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI). In addition, Career Days help beneficiaries strengthen employability in partner regions.

By fostering a Community of Practice, aligning learning outcomes with clear indicators, and showing policy-relevant impact, DigitalLife4ALL goes beyond skills development. The project also aims to influence regional policy and practice. In this way, it supports the long-term use and sustainability of inclusive digital learning infrastructures.

DigitalLife4ALL helps create safer, fairer, and more connected Mediterranean communities. It ensures that no one is left behind in the digital transition.
