EUSEEDS : Consultancy call – Labour-Market skills study

Forward MENA is launching a consultancy under the EUSEEDS project, co-funded by the European Union, to produce a study on medium-term labour-market skills needs in Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine, with a focus on high-demand occupations and emerging AI-related competencies.

As part of the EUSEEDS project (Enable, Upgrade and Spread Employability, Entrepreneurship and Digital Skills), co-funded  by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, Forward MENA is launching a call for consultancy to support the project’s analytical and strategic components.

The EUSEEDS project aims to establish and strengthen 20 university employability centers across Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine. In this context, the consultancy will contribute to a better understanding of current and future labour-market dynamics in the region.

Objectives of the consultancy include:

  • Producing a comprehensive study identifying the medium-term skills required to meet labour-market demand in the five target countries (Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine).

  • Analysing high-demand occupations and examining the rise of AI-related competencies, with insights on their relevance for youth employment and higher-education initiatives.
