Interreg NEXT MED is pleased to announce its participation in the 3rd edition of the MED Talks, an initiative jointly organized by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM). The event will take place online on 16 December 2025 from 9:00 to 13.00 CET. The MED Talks provides a platform for Mediterranean cooperation actors to exchange ideas, spotlight innovative solutions, and strengthen synergies across the region.
As part of its contribution, two Interreg NEXT MED projects will showcase their work, highlighting their expected impact and their alignment with the core missions of Interreg Euro-MED. These are MedRESOURCE (‘Mediterranean initiative to Regenerate wastewater Sludges for Optimal Use toward a Circular Economy’) and STORM (Integrating Seasonal Thermal Energy Storage in the Mediterranean Region’) projects. Their presentations will highlight ways in which the two programmes can work together to address common Mediterranean challenges.
In addition, Interreg NEXT MED partners will have the opportunity to take part in a dynamic online networking session with representatives of the four Interreg Euro-MED missions, creating space for direct dialogue, knowledge exchange, and exploration of potential collaborations.
Bringing together programme representatives, stakeholders, and thematic experts, the MED Talks aim to foster deeper cooperation across the Mediterranean. By participating, Interreg NEXT MED seeks to reinforce its commitment to a more sustainable, innovative, and resilient region, while exploring new synergies and complementary initiatives.
