The SMAC project has launched a tender for services

The selected entity will provide management support, training, consulting, and technical assistance to implement and test a sustainability model for accommodation enterprises.

The Democritus University of Thrace, partner of the Sustainability Model for Accommodation MSMEs (SMAC) project, has launched an Open Electronic Tender for services, entitled:

“Provision of services to support the implementation of actions under the transnational project SMAC – Sustainability Model for Accommodation MSMEs” (Call for Tender No. 60011 / 29-10-2025) in Greece

With a total budget of 92.290,32 € (excluded VAT), the activities included in the services are:

  • Provide management support, assist the local coordinator, and handle communication and documentation tasks.
  • Implement the pilot sustainability model with accommodation enterprises and organize a study visit in Xanthi.
  • Design and deliver training programmes, offer tailored consulting, and support businesses in applying sustainable practices.
  • Participate in a transnational working group and test the project’s digital platform, providing technical and usability feedback.

The deadline for submission of tenders is 18 November 2025.

The SMAC project, funded under the first call for proposals, aims to enhance sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs by developing, pilot implementing, and refining a Simplified Sustainability Model for Accommodation businesses (SSMA), supported by an Artificial Intelligence Recommendation Tool (AIRET). The project ensures the lasting effects and transferability of outputs and results.
