About – Mediterranean Health in Crisis: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Resilience

The Mediterranean region faces significant challenges from natural disasters, environmental vulnerabilities, and geopolitical tensions, particularly affecting health systems and widening inequalities for vulnerable populations. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exposed weaknesses in emergency preparedness and response. The project will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance emergency healthcare systems, ensure better coordination and prioritization of resources, and strengthen community resilience in Lebanon, Palestine, Italy, Türkiye and Spain.
