For the first time\, doctors\, researchers\, universities and civil society organisations will sit at the same table to turn cooperation into action. \nDuring the meeting\, partners will share the vision behind SALAM and begin shaping the work ahead: from the creation of hospital hubs in Beirut and Irbid\, to telecardiology services and mobile medical units designed to reach communities that too often remain distant from care. The discussion will explore how training\, digital tools and research can support healthcare that is not only effective\, but also accessible\, human and rooted in the needs of people and families. \nThe day will mark the beginning of a collaboration built on trust\, shared responsibility and the belief that cooperation across the Mediterranean can help reduce the distance between people and healthcare. \nIn Arabic\, “Salam” means peace.\nAnd in this project\, peace begins with health.
