DESCRIPTION:The MedFireWise Project is pleased to announce a regional workshop organized by our Tunisian partner\, INRGREF (National Research Institute for Rural Engineering\, Water and Forestry). This event will focus on the integration of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) into wildfire risk management\, with a special emphasis on silvopastoral practices. \nAs wildfires become an increasingly urgent challenge across the Mediterranean due to climate change\, land-use pressures\, and ecological vulnerabilities\, the workshop will offer a platform for experts\, researchers\, policymakers\, and local stakeholders to exchange knowledge and explore sustainable approaches.
